I Walk Alone

You questioned my behaviour

My morals my ways

You judged me everyday

Silently in your curiosity lays

A will to know why is she this way

So that you can go tell all your friends

The secrets I said in confidance

And then someone says

I heard people talk

It all comes back to me

I don’t want to trust anymore

Be bothered, insulted, affected

So that’s why I walk alone, indifferent

For you never know

The friend from the foe

The difference, a thin line, a tightrope,

A crack in the ice

So I close my eyes every night

Glad to be home alone

Safe and sound

With no one around…
