CHILDHOOD : MISS THOSE DAYS

When little things got us excited. A new toy. New stationery. New clothes. When we actually played outside instead of playing games on the computer. When birthday parties were the best things ever because we got return gifts. Fancy dress parties. Musical chairs. Big balloons full of toffees. When coffee was a huge deal. When we covered our notebooks with brown paper and wrote on four line notebooks and used our fingers to space the words. When we struggled with fractions. When we had to beg mom for letting us eat ice cream. When every visitor brought us chocolates. When TV meant Scooby Doo and Courage the cowardly dog. When we brushed our teeth every night and wore cute night suits. When dad took us out on weekends. When life was full of simplicity and joy. I miss those days…
